Abrazame Muy Fuerte: intakes/summaries of the "Cristina show" and "El Gordo Y LaFlaca" 7/25/1 by Falenn

Cristina Show
Cesar Evora was the first to be interviewed. He doesn't like doing
interviews but for Cristina he would. He's very private especially to protect
his family and he's kind of timid. He first wasn't interested in the
character (Federico) cause he was too busy/tired. But after reading several of
the first scripts he agreed but only if he could change the character a
little and add his own things. He doesn't think he's good looking, it's
weird for him when people consider him good looking. He looks in the mirror
and wonders why he's in this business, he sees nothing good looking about
him. Oh ya by the way, he's nicely shaved...no beard nor mustache. Anyways,
he's not interested in Hollywood, I guess he tried it out in 1988 (not sure
exactly what he did) but he felt strange , didn't feel @ home not like he
does in Mexico...he feels very content in Mexico, right @ home. He has three
children, two oldest from first marriage (both in Cuba) and the 3rd from his
current wife which by the way is beautiful. They showed a clip of his wife,
she's very pretty.
When going to commercial, Fernando C. had a slight
interview w/Ara. Both looking very comfortable and w/baseball hats. She
mentioned how the deer attacked her and how she almost fell into the
waterfall (last scene of the telenovela). She said it must have been Fer's
strong arms that saved her and calls him her "guardian angel" cause if it
wasn't for him she wouldn't be here.....he saved her life. Later on, he also interviewed Victoria Ruffo, (interview was during the last episode), she said
it was kind of hard being blind. She got infections in her eyes like every
month from the stuff in the air at the studios. She mentioned how it was her
first time on a novela that she had done a love scene like the way she did it
with Osvaldo Rios. He's a great co-worker and very respectful.
Pablo Montero sings a song in his charro suit. At the end of the song, Aracely
comes out and he sings the rest of it to her. After the song, both take a
seat next to Cesar.
Cristina, "last time u were here u were in love with me and now
this!" Cris points to Ara. She asked what has been going on between them.
They dodged the question and said that they've been singing together @
different places.
Nailea Norvind enters the room, she started saying
something like how Ara is always where she's at and taking all the guys.
Ara says, "if i knew this woman was going to be her I wouldn't have come.
Nailea, "im going to hurt u where it hurts the most."
She sits by Pablo and asks to sing to her.
Then Ara stands up and says "well I'll leave u with them, bye".
She leaves and then Nailea takes off after her. (this whole scene was just an act, kind of setting you up for next Monday)
Oh, then when both Ara/Nailea left the stage, Cesar tells Pablo, "now that they've left can u sing to me". Everyone was cracking up laughing. He seems very funny.
Cesar was talking about how Nailea's little girls would ask him, "how come u killed my Mommy?" They showed one of Nailea's girls, she's so cute.
Cris introduces Nailea, they mentioned the famous "slap" that she had given
Ara. Apparently it was a hard slap but it was an accident. It was when
Nailea got off the horse and slapped her (i think i remember this scene, they
had a major fight outside of "ODA") Anyways, she apologized to Ara many
times, Ara understood and was very professional....she understands accidents
happen.
Cris asked her, "what she like best slapping people or the galanes (men)? She said of course the men. Cris, "what did u like most about this novela?" She answered, just being a part of this novela. Whoever thought I would be working w/great actors like them." Who kissed best??? She didn't answer, she said none cause they weren't real kisses, they were all acting kisses. She said how Fer/Ces were very "traviesos" meaning mischievous
And Vicky Ruffo slept a lot @ the
dining table....Cesar would drop a big plate so she would wake up. She would
wake
up scared and then when they would start filming, she would go back to
sleep and he would throw another plate and so on.
Pablo M.'s brother was in the audience, apparently he created this new look
for Ara w/her long extensions, ext. (cause remember she cut her hair short)
and he also helps Pablo. Cristina asked him if there was anything going on
w/his brother (Pablo) and Ara. He only said they were good friends.
Pablo ended the show w/another song.
"El Gordo y La Flaca"
They showed scenes of Fernando Colunga enjoying the hot sun of Miami, FL w/a
black bikini thong. Of course he didn't know the camera was capturing him.
Then they showed a scene w/Ara & Pablo @ a Cuban restaurant in Miami, FL
w/some friends. Not sure but it looked as though she kissed him. After
showing these scenes, there were some doubts from Lili/Raul (the hosts of El
Gordo y La Flaca). They were analyzing the kiss, they said the kiss looked
strange. Because from the angle of the camera it was hard to tell. It
looked as though she kissed him then she whispered something in his ear, then
they both started laughing. Raul didn't think it was a "love kiss" because
of the way they laughed. They interviewed Aracely in Mexico while working in
her play. The opening night of the play Pablo sang to her on the stage.
According to him, it was a gift from all the cast who all were there to see
the play, the only person who knew how to sing was him so he was the one who
sang. Ara was surprised, it was a nice detail. She continues to say theres
nothing between them, just good friends. Then they interviewed Pablo in
Mexico, he said there just friends also....if something were to happen
between them and then they would break up, things wouldn't be the same
between them and he rather have her as a good friend for all life.
They interviewed Dacia Arcaraz (Gema). She talked about Ara's accident @ the
waterfall. Apparently Fed/Ara went to the top to shoot some scenes together,
the rest of the cast were @ the bottom looking. Apparently, Ara was walking
and waving hi to everyone down below, that’s when she fell, Fer grabbed her by
one arm. They say two people died that week @ that waterfall. There’s a part
where the two waterfalls meet, they call it "el liquadora" meaning "the
blender". People don’t come out of there for days....that’s where the two boys
died and thats where Ara fell. Can u imagine?? It wasn't till Dacia (Gema)
got to the hotel where she was informed that it was by "the blender" where
Ara almost fell. She felt horrible. She has a boyfriend and is in a
novela called "Maria Belen".
Also, Cesar Evora and Fernando Colunga will be doing a play together called
"Trampa de Muerte" apparently they adapted the play.
